The terms “roof” and “roofing” are related but have slightly different meanings…

1. Roof:

   • It encompasses all the materials, techniques, and labor involved in constructing or maintaining the roof, including waterproofing, insulation, ventilation, and drainage systems.

In summary, the roof is the physical structure that covers the top of a building, while roofing refers to the materials and workmanship involved in constructing, repairing, or maintaining that structure.
